About Me
Barbora Hendrychová
I was born in 1988 in Slovakia and graduated in nursing from St. Elizabeth University of Health and Social Work in Bratislava. I have lived in different countries, including Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Africa (Kenya), Russia (Siberia), and now Malta. I participated in the Alfajiri Street Art project in Nairobi, founded by Australian sculptor Lenore Boyd. This work offered an art therapy-based outreach program and additional creative empowerment programs aimed at street children and high-risk vulnerable children and youth, especially those living in the streets and slums of Nairobi. After my experiences in Africa, I continued with art therapy in other countries.
